Reinsberg acquires Tedisel Medical in Spain

Reinsberg Group, the European medtech platform owned by Czech investment group BHM Group, has acquired Tedisel Medical, a Badalona-based manufacturer of hospital infrastructure equipment founded in 1995. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Tedisel Medical designs and manufactures bedhead units for inpatient and neonatal wards, ceiling-mounted supply pendants for intensive care and critical areas, technical panels, and operating-room software. It competes directly with Dräger, Trumpf Medical, Maquet, and Brandon Medical in the hospital ceiling-pendant and bedhead segment. Its structural position in Spain is built on installed-base density: 70% of Spanish hospitals have implemented Tedisel solutions, including Hospital Clínic Barcelona, Hospital 12 de Octubre Madrid, and the QuirónSalud group. That reference-account depth is what foreign competitors cannot replicate inside the Iberian public-tender cycle.

Tedisel has approximately 70 employees and its products are present in healthcare facilities across more than 80 countries.

For Reinsberg, the acquisition does two things simultaneously. It gives the group its first manufacturing base on the Iberian Peninsula. It also converts Spain into a direct gateway into Latin America, a corridor no existing Reinsberg portfolio company has been positioned to serve at scale.

"With the acquisition of Tedisel Medical, we are strengthening Reinsberg Group's position in Spain with an established manufacturer that has its own production and international references." — Dr Markus Keussen, Chief Executive Officer, Reinsberg Group.

"Tedisel also has long-standing experience in Latin America, which is important for us as we continue to develop our presence in Spanish-speaking markets." — Dr Markus Keussen, Chief Executive Officer, Reinsberg Group.

Reinsberg has been acquiring at a pace of roughly one transaction every six to twelve months. The group added Rein Medical, a German OR-integration and healthcare-IT specialist, earlier in 2026, and completed the acquisition of PROTEC, a German X-ray systems manufacturer, in July 2025. Tedisel joins a portfolio that already includes ALVO Medical, Brandon Medical, FAMED Żywiec, and medifa. Combined group revenues already exceed €100 million annually.

Jan Izák, chairman of Reinsberg Group, framed the logic in product terms. "Tedisel Medical brings to Reinsberg Group a product portfolio that fits well with the offering of the other companies in the group. As a result, we will be able to offer customers a broader and more integrated solution while strengthening Reinsberg Group's position in complex hospital projects." — Jan Izák, Chairman, Reinsberg Group.

BHM Group, the parent, was founded by Czech entrepreneur Tomáš Krsek and operates across healthcare technology, renewable energy, real estate, laboratory infrastructure, and venture capital.

Any European medtech group now assembling a pan-Iberian hospital-project offer will find a single integrated rival already in place, one that holds the manufacturing, the reference accounts, and the export route into Spanish-speaking markets.
